Asahidake is the highest peak of the Daisetsuzan mountain range and the tallest mountain on the island of Hokkaido. Omnipresent in the valley of Asahikawa, it is becoming increasingly known in the world for its powder snow. Yes, this valley is not only a paradise for snowboarders and skiers, but also for cyclists, hikers, canoeists, and wildlife/outdoor lovers... Tired? Bathe slowly in its amazing hot springs and then taste its delicious and varied gastronomy. Shall we take a walk?
